Default Boosting happiness through food

Memorise these nutrients: Omega 3 fats, folic acid, B12 and Vitamin D.Research has found that these have mood-lifting properties, here's a quick list of "happy" foods:
  • Spinach (folic acid + soluble fibre)
  • Wild Salmon (Omega 3 fats + Vitamin D)
  • Skim Milk (Vitamin D +B12)
  • Ground Flaxseed (soluble fibre, omega 3 fats + folic acid)
  • Blackberries (soluble fibre + folic acid)
Happiness can be attained through a balance of natural chemicals produced by your brain. Encouraging your brain to produce these chemicals through consuming the correct foods is a simple procedures that may have fantastic results!

Aren't we all seeking happiness? How would you describe happiness?

Default foods to avoid that will lower the happieness :)

These foods you need to avoid if you want to boost your happieness through food , hope they would help

Refined sugar. That’s what you find in candy and birthday cake. It’s a bad-mood-food because it temporarily raises your mood and energy level, followed by a crash, which can leave you even more depressed. Psychologist Larry Christensen says that the natural sugar and fiber in fresh fruit keeps your blood sugar and your mood more stable – so eat fruit instead of processed sweets to stay energized and happy.

Refined grains. Stay away from the Wonder bread, and the all-you-can-eat pasta bowl at the Olive Garden. They boost your blood sugar levels, causing your body to release large amounts of insulin. But if too much insulin is released, blood sugar levels plummet, causing fatigue and moodiness. So, stick to whole grains and sweet potatoes.

Chips, French fries, and other salty snacks, like Fritos. Excess salt dehydrates your body - because it forces water out of your cells to dilute the sodium in your system. And one of the first symptoms of dehydration is fatigue. So, if you’re feeling stressed and need something crunchy to munch on, try carrots or apple slices.

Wow Qataria this is great information! Thanks for taking the time to spread this info as the majority of people in this region don't really care about "good" foods and "bad" foods...I love the culture here where everyone gathers around meals, but the meals need to be healthier...Keep spreading the joy!

Default hi there sam

yeh its true thats our culture and we still follow it . Well nowadays its different . In the olden day they used to say that if a girl is skinny that means that her family is not feeding her well and if she is chubby she is (bint azz ) that means her family are wealthy and are feeding her well . I guess nowadays the new trend is the skinner you are the more attractive you will be . I just follow my health eat more healthy food the longer you will live

Hi girls,
I think you should eat what ever you want in moderation. life is so short and it's very early to deprive ourselves from pleasure of food. When you become older you must then leave your habits and start to eat light ang sugar free
I think it's toooo early to come to that misery point .Eat what ever you like but don't exagerate, play sport , And enjoy life
