Mera's Vimto Blueberry Pancakes

 

Ingredients
(Makes about 12 pancakes)
3eggs
1cup self raising flour
1/3cup milk
1/3cup Vimto syrup
Salt and pepper
2cups Blueberries (or raspberries,

Directions
In a medium size bowl scramble eggs together with flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1 tablespoon sugar. Continue mixing until all chunks are gone. Add milk and Vimto while mixing.
If the mixture is too watery add 1 or 2 tablespoon flour and mix.
Add fruits and mix using gentle folding motion until they're scattered in mix.
Heat up medium size skillet with a bit oil.
Pour into skillet half a ladle from mixture. Lower flame to half size and wait until bubbles are formed in middle of pancake. Turn pancake over and wait for 1 minute.
Take out of skillet and serve while hot.

 


Mohideen's Quick & Easy Vimto Semolina Halwa

Ingredients
Semolina - 200gms
Sugar - 200gms
Ghee /clarified butter - 200gms
Boiling Water - 400ml
Vimto cordial - 10ml
Cardamom Powder - a pinch
Roasted Almonds & Cashews - 50gms
Raisins - 10gms

Method
1. Dissolve sugar in hot water and keep aside.
2. Heat ghee in a frying pan.
3. Add semolina and fry on medium heat, until golden pink in color and it gives out a distinctive flavor of roasting semolina. Ghee should begin to separate from the semolina.
4. Add sugared water and Vimto cordial. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until the mix becomes thick and begins to come off the pan.
5. Add 3/4th of the nuts, cardamom powder and raisins, mix and take it out in a serving bowl.
6. Garnish with remaining nuts.
7. Serve hot.

 

Ladyzee's Amazing Vimto Iced Volcano

 

Ingredients:
2 x 100 ml Vimto
1 strawberry jelly
1000 ml vanilla Ice Cream
ladyfinger biscuits (20#)
praline (100 almonds grilled+ 150 g sugar caramelized)

Praline: melt sugar with one spoon of water until it is brown then add the almonds, after it is cold, blend it

Jelly: mix the jelly with one cup of hot water then add 100 ml Vimto, pour the mix into a bowl, let it be in the fridge!

After 2 hours: dip the biscuits cut into halves in Vimto then put it in a mould all around the walls! remove the jelly gently and vigilantly into the middle of the mould, then put the ice cream all over, put the praline into the cracks between the ice cream you put, pour few spoons of Vimto (to make like a marble effect) then press the ice cream and back to the freezer!

 

 

Banoote's Sponge Cake with whipping cream, berries and Vimto

 

Ingredients:

- Sponge cake.

- Vimto syrup.

- Whipping cream.

- Blackberry.

- Strawberry jam.

- Icing sugar for decoration.


Directions:

- Cut the cake into three slices. Slightly pour the Vimto syrup over them. Spread warm strawberry jam over each layer. Then spread the whipping cream over each of them and put the layers on top of each other. Spread little jam on top of the cake.

Served cold.

 

Jesica_star's Muffin Cake with Vimto

 

Ingredients:

2 cups flour

1/2 tsp sodium bicarbonate

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup dissolved butter

A big yogurt bowl

1/2 cup milk

2 eggs

A cup of Vimto

Little salt

 

Directions:
- Heat the oven.

- Grease the 12 cake molds with butter.

- Sift the flour with the baking soda, salt and baking powder in a kneading bowl.

- Mix the butter, yoghurt, eggs and vanilla with the electric whisk.

- Pour the butter mixture over the flour mixture and stir with a wooden spoon then add the Vimto.

- Pour the mixture in the greased holes. Bake it in a medium heat oven.

- Use any kind of fruit or chocolate.

 

Oases - Delicious Vimto Dessert

 

Ingredients:

- 2 packets strawberry cake rolls.

- 2.5 packs of Cream

- 2 Dream whip.

- 1 packet Mary biscuits.

- 1/2 cup Vimto.

- 1/2 cup liquid milk.


Directions:

- Cut the cake into round slices and put into the Pyrex.

- Put the Dream Whip cream + 2 cream packs. Put the mixture on the cake.

- Put the cake in the freezer for around 1/2 hour until it frosts.

- Dip the biscuits in the milk and put it on top of the mixture.

- Beat 1/2 a pack of cream in the mixer and 1/2 a cup of Vimto in the mixer. Add this mixture on top of the biscuits.

- Put it in the refrigerator for 3 hours or a whole night.

 

Hudhud44 -Vimto Cheese cake

 

- 1 cup Vimto syrup

- 2 packets cream caramel

- 2 packets digestive biscuits

- 1 packet Kiri cheese

- 1 butter bar

- 8 cups coffee

- 1 yoghurt bowl

- 2 tsp Vanilla powder

- Crush the biscuits and mix it with butter. Spread the mixture in the cheesecake pan.
- Second layer: consists of: Kiri cheese packet.

 

Yoghurt.

8 cups powder milk.

Blend in the mixer until you are ingredients are well mixed.

Pour over the biscuits and bake.

But BE CAREFUL that the pan should be put below the flame inside the oven for just a minute.
- After removing the pan from the oven, leave it outside the refrigerator until the final layer is finished.

- Vimto layer: consists of:

- 1 cup Vimto syrup; and

- 2 packets cream caramel.

Heat the mixture until boiling with constant stirring.
Pour the mixture immediately over the last layer. Notice it will take no time to get coherent.

Sahy77 - Vimto layers dessert


First layer:

- 3 cups crushed biscuits.

- Butter bar.

- 1 coffee cup liquid milk.


Second layer:

- 1 yoghurt bowl.

- 2 coffee cups powder milk

- 3 coffee cups sugar.


Third layer:

- 1 coffee cup Vimto syrup.

- 1 coffee cup water.

- 1 packet cream caramel.

- Mix the ingredients of the first layer and put the mixture in the pan.

- Beat the ingredients of the second layer in the mixer and pour the resulting mixture over the first layer.

- Bake in the upper part of the oven until it hardens and then leave it to cool down.

- Mix the ingredients of the third layer and boil. Leave it to cool down then a little then gradually pour it on top of the other two layers and put the pan in the refrigerator.

 

 

Princeesse's Cheese and Vimto dessert

 

Ingredients:

- A pound cake.

- 8 pieces cream cheese (such as Kiri - 160 grams).

- 2 packs whipping cream.

- Cream.

- 3/4 cup cold milk.

- 2 packs whipping cream.

- 2 large cups Vimto.


Directions:

1- Put the pound cake in the serving plate.

2- Beat the cheese, the whipping cream and the milk in the mixer. Spread over the cake then put it in the freezer.

3- Mix the Vimto and the cream caramel over heat until they turn into a somewhat thick sauce.

4- Mildly add the sauce over the previous mixtures. Put the cake in the freezer to freeze the last layer.
